Event Summary
Step on-board a lovingly restored heritage steam train and travel back in time on the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway in the lovely Derbyshire Dales and partake in the quintessentially British pastime of enjoying a cream tea during the journey.
You'll take in the picturesque scenery on a 16 mile round trip from Wirksworth, just 14 miles from Derby.
Each booking is seated on an exclusive table in the 1950s-built vintage carriage for this experience making this a great way to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion.
You can also upgrade to a private compartment like in the films for £25 per booking (not per person).

We can provide a gluten free alternative if notified in advance of the day. The cut off for notifying us about your requirement is the Tuesday before you travel so please ensure you let us know in good time.
The railway is good for accessibility with step free access from the car park to the platforms.
