Line - Great Central Railway

The Great Central Railway captures the spirit of the original Great Central Main Line as it runs through the Leicestershire countryside from the historic town of Loughborough to Leicester North. Along the way, soak up the atmosphere of beautifully preserved period stations and enjoy sweeping views across Swithland Reservoir. This line is also Britain's only double track steam railway so keep an eye out for other heritage trains passing by!

Throughout the year, a variety of catering journeys and family-friendly events bring the line to life.
