Central Scotland
Line - Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway
Discover the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway, a scenic 5 mile heritage line running from the large, atmospheric station at Bo'ness to Manuel, where it connects with the main line. Along the way, the route passes the charming station at Birkhill and, for part of the journey, follows the shoreline of the Firth of Forth with lovely coastal views.
Before or after your trip, allow time to explore the fascinating Scottish Railway Preservation Society Museum at Bo'ness (small extra charge payable locally), where historic locomotives and carriages bring Scotland'd railway past to life.
