Steam Train Travel with Fish & Chips (Nottinghamshire)

Take in the experience of riding in heritage carriages from the 1950s or early 1960s on a 20 mile round trip from Ruddington Fields - in easy reach of Nottingham and the wider Midlands.

The route runs through the countrside along the route of the former Great Central Railway to just outside Loughborough. The railway have grand plans to eventually link back up to their friends which run from Loughborough to Leicester North to create a joint Great Central Railway.

Fish and chips are served prior to departure from the local traditional fish & chips shop, to be eaten on the return journey. You will also be given with a drink and scrumptious flapjack or large biscuit.

Please note that tables are arranged in fours. Groups of two may be seated on the same table as other groups of two.
