Line: Aln Valley Railway

The Aln Valley Railway operates from their base at Lionheart Station near Alnwick. The spacious site includes a cafe and gift shop plus a wonderful miniature railway. The line runs for crosses a magnificent viaduct to their current terminus at Greenrigg, a distance of 1.5 miles however they have aspirations of extending further to complete the route of the former branch line from Alnwick.
