Event Summary
Your chance to step on-board a wonderful restored steam train and travel back in time on the Watercress Line in lovely Hampshire with tasty fish and chips to enjoy!
Take a journey on this historic line from Alresford station, which is easily accessed from Southampton, Guildford, Woking, the wider home counties and London. Hauled by a heritage steam locomotive with carriages from the 1950s and early 1960s, the trip takes approximately one hour and 45 minutes.
Fish and chips are served at the station just prior to departure for you to enjoy on board. You will also be served with a drink and scrumptious flapjack or large biscuit.
Book early to avoid disappointment as this journey is very popular.

We can generally not manage allergies such as gluten, nut or dairy because the meals are prepared in small spaces with limited options. That said, our cream tea journeys can all be served gluten-free and vegetarian so we would recommend those options if these are your needs. All allergies must be notified when booking in a specific date by email.
