Steam Train Travel with Cream Tea (Nottinghamshire)

Event Summary
Take in the experience of riding in heritage carriages from the 1950s or early 1960s on a 20 mile round trip from Ruddington Fields - in easy reach of Nottingham and the wider Midlands.
The route runs through the countrside along the route of the former Great Central Railway to just outside Loughborough. The railway have grand plans to eventually link back up to their friends which run from Loughborough to Leicester North to create a joint Great Central Railway.
A traditional cream tea consisting of a scone with jam & clotted cream, plus a mini cake and, not forgetting, tea and coffee will be served to your seat on board.
