Take in the experience of riding in this vintage carriage built in 1959 on a 16 mile round trip from Loughborough's beautifully restored station - in easy reach of Birmingham and the wider Midlands.

As we chuff along, you'll see two superbly managed stations at Quorn and Woodhouse which is set in the 1940s and Rothley, preserved as the early 1900s. This is Britain's only steam railway with double track so look out for other heritage trains whizzing past too!

The cream tea consists of a scone, cream, jam, mini-cake and a hot drink.
