The Gruffalo Visits! (Leicestershire)
Event Summary
On Sunday 24th August, Fox & Edwards Events will be joined by The Gruffalo at the Great Central Railway, bringing lots of fun and excitement. There will be steam train trips and the chance to see The Gruffalo at intervals.
Start your visit at Quorn & Woodhouse station (LE12 8AG) where there is large free car parking.
Our vintage steam train will be waiting to welcome you for a journey of approximately 70 minutes. This relaxed journey is approximately eight miles in total and allows you to experience a bygone era.
Every child and infant will receive a story book, activity sheet, gingerbread train biscuit and juice carton, too!
When we return, The Gruffalo will be waiting for friendly waves and to see fans like you. Don’t forget to bring your camera to get some snaps!
