Paddington Visits! (Leicestershire)
Event Summary
Come and meet Paddington on 21st & 22nd March at intervals throughout the day at Great Central Railway!
Begin your journey at Quorn & Woodhouse Station, where you will enjoy a scenic steam train journey through the scenic Leicestershire countryside. Your train will proceed to Leicester North and then Loughborough Central, where there is a short opportunity to have a look round the preserved stations.
Every child will receive a complimentary storybook, activity sheet, crayon, biscuit and juice to enjoy during the journey.
When you return to the station, Paddington will be waiting to meet families, wave hello and pose for photos, so don’t forget your camera!
Seating Options
A traditional private compartment featuring comfortable bench style seating, walls and a sliding door.
A traditional 1950/60s coach with an open style interior. Seats are arranged around tables of 4.
