Event Summary
Arrive at Furnace Sidings station for the start of your journey back thousands of years.
Collect a free Dinosaur storybook, a gingerbread biscuit, activity sheet and crayon for every child to give them plenty to do during the journey.
As our steam train leaves the station, prepare for some surprising fellow passengers! The dinosaurs are back to life and are coming to your carriage!
During the trip, you'll see a number of different dinosaurs. Can you name them all?
Points to Note
- Infants six months and younger are free.
- Appearances are not designed to be scary, but do get close, so please assess your own child's circumstances.

Traditional Compartment

Premium Compartment

- 1st class compartment features upgraded armchair bench seating with walls and a sliding door for privacy
Open Seating

- Open interior carriage. Ideal for bigger groups or those who enjoy sharing the atmosphere.

The standard food item included is a gingerbread biscuit in the shape of a steam train.
Our team have Nomo chocolate available at the event without the need to let us know about this in advance. Nomo chocolate is suitable for a wide range of allergens and dietary requirements including vegan, gluten free, dairy free, nut free and egg free. Ask our team at check in should you wish for your child to have a Nomo bar instead of the gingerbread biscuit.
There is limited storage space on board the train for pushchairs. Pushchairs will generally need to be folded to get through the doors on the train.
Children under 6 months are not counted towards the maximum number of persons in your compartment.
The number of persons a compartment ticket is for is the maximum number of persons that can be in that compartment. We will allow one young child as an addition to the maximum number only. Larger groups should buy open style seating to be sat together or multiple compartments and we will try to allocate them adjacent to each other.

In most instances, it isn't possible to get access to your seats on board the train too long prior to departure as it won't be in the station for long from a previous trip.
We are happy for you to bring items that can go in your compartment or on your table but only permit the use of Blue Tack. Sorry no tape or pins allowed.
You may wish to bring a birthday cake however we do not permit candles.

The deadline for making alterations or cancellations to your booking is the Tuesday prior to your departure as we begin to prepare for your arrival after this time. Once this deadline is passed, we cannot make any further changes.
Toilet facilities are available at the departure station, including accessible and baby changing.
There are no toilets on board the train.
