Steam Train Travel with Fish & Chips (Nottinghamshire)
Step aboard a 1950s/60s heritage carriage and enjoy a nostalgic 20-mile round trip through the Nottinghamshire countryside. Hauled by a steam locomotive, this journey follows the route of the former Great Central Railway towards Loughborough, offering a relaxing journey with beautiful scenery.
Your food is freshly prepared by a local traditional fish & chip shop and ready to enjoy as you depart. Alongside your chosen food, you'll also receive a refreshing drink and a tasty flapjack or biscuit.

Points to Note:
- Tables are arranged in fours. Groups of two may be seated with another party of two.
- Couples will be seated side by side and will travel forward in one direction of the journey and backward in the other.
- Upgrade option: A limited number of private table upgrades are available for a couple or small groups wishing not to share.
- We do offer single tickets; however, these can only be purchased by contacting our enquiries team at tickets@foxandedwards.com or by calling 01629 380600.
- A Family Ticket includes two adults and two children. Children are classed as aged 3 to 11 inclusive. Children under 3 travel free, however they are not provided with a meal and must sit on an adult's knee.
