Evening Steam Train Excursions on the Ecclesbourne valley railway

Step on-board a lovingly restored steam train and travel back in time on the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway for an evening ride.
Relax in your seat and take in the picturesque scenery as the steam locomotive pulls you on a 16 mile round trip from Wirksworth, just 14 miles from Derby. Live music will be played at regular intervals during your experience. Watch the sunset gradually over this beautiful part of the world from the comfort of your seat. The compartment carriages used are typical of those in use in the 1950s and 1960s. These trains depart at 7pm, and return at 9pm. A bar serving real ale and soft drinks at additional cost is on board. Tickets are £25 per adult, or £50 per couple. |
